Here is my life list. I have decided to do all of these things, in no particular order. When I’ve done one, I’ll write about it and link to it. Excitement!

1. Learn to write more than just my name in Arabic
2. Become dog owner
3. Get married
4. Have kid
5. Own my own business
6. Write a novel that I actually finish
7. Record a song I’ve written
8. Ride a double-decker bus in England
9. Ride a trolley in San Fransisco
10. Go on an Alaskan cruise
11. Water-ski
12. Read every book I own
13. Go to top of Eiffel tower and take photograph of view
14. Learn to surf
15. Meet 10 blogger friends
16. Make amends with every person I’ve wronged
17. Busk at a city market in a foreign country
18. Find my center, whatever the hell that is
19. Take a course for the pure enjoyment of learning
20. Meet someone ridiculously famous, but pretend that I don’t know how ridiculously famous they are, and be normal and funny
21. Eat vegetables that I have grown in my own garden (grow own garden)
22. Paint something worth putting up on the wall in the living room
23. Compose a symphony
24. Be a boss (and then, be a good boss)
25. Learn to shoot a bow and arrow (and not at a person)
26. Purchase a pair of shoes in Milan
27. Create a piece of knitted lace so intricate and beautiful and delicate that I can’t believe I did it myself
28. Have sex in every province and territory in Canada (left to do it in: Northwest Territories, Yukon, Nunavut, BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, PEI and Newfoundland)
29. Go on roadtrip to visit World’s Biggest Things
30. Design and create an exquisite pair of shoes
31. Publish a book consisting solely of my photographs
32. Do something exciting that truly terrifies me (like skydiving)
33. Lead healthy lifestyle (ongoing, but I keep falling off the wagon)
34. Learn to speak and write Italian
35. Taste 100 different pizzas from 100 different places
36. Visit 5 fashion capitals of the world (Paris, Tokyo, London, Milan, NYC)
37. Learn how to make Chinese food
38. Host a Halloween party wherein I set up my house as an elaborate haunted house
39. SCUBA dive
40. Salsa dance in a competition
41. Climb to the top of something
42. Purchase a car in cash
43. Set foot on each continent
44. Get over absurd fear of turning 47
45. Do a tour of Europe and publish a book with photographs and commentary of the trip
46. Host an elaborate ten-course Christmas dinner for friends and family that begins at 5pm and lasts all evening
47. Write and illustrate a children’s story
48. Be an extra in a film (dead person, cat-caller, or otherwise noteworthy extra)
49. Win a karaoke competition (I’m sure I could do it. See?)
50. Discover previously unknown natural talent or aptitude for something
51. Learn to ride 2 axle vehicle
52. Skydive to overcome/succumb to fear of heights
53. Do some foot modelling
54. Learn conversational Spanish
55. Pay off student loan in full

92. Write a ridiculous musical
93. Enlist the help of friends and family to produce ridiculous musical and film it for posterity
94. Walk the dog every single day for a year, rain or shine (will be difficult considering she does not like getting her paws wet)
95. Take a vacation on a whim, without packing, with 10 minutes notice, picking destination at random in an airport
96. Make 10 people cry because they are overwhelmed and overcome with joy (one – my mom)
97. Become published author
98. Help someone in a major, life-changing way (help someone get through university; out of an abusive relationship, …)
99. Buy my own book at a local bookstore
100. Make serious attempt at crossing every item off on this list
