Errant thought

I hope that when I go, someone, somewhere says of me, “She was really lovely. She drew people into her world.”

Observation

You know how when you come home after work, and it’s late at night, and then your dog winds herself all over you and licks your knees with affection, and follows you around, and then you sit down at the computer to put up your daily photograph and your aloof cat hops up on  your lap uninvited and makes herself at home, purring contently?

That right there is happiness.
