Can’t help it

Internet? I’m so impressed with myself.

I can’t help it.

And this is why:

I’m starting to really enjoy the pictures I’ve been taking. Like, a lot. I’m not so vain as to think they’re spectacular; I’m sure there are several things I could do to improve my abilities, but I’m starting to get really excited about this. It’s a hobby I’ve been fighting for years, and I admit that it has finally overwhelmed me. It has won. It is something I love to do. I want to go on vacations and take glorious photographs.

This ties in well with Doug’s passion for photography, considering that he is far more advanced than I am, has a far fancier camera than I do, and has a wealth of technical knowledge that surpasses mine.

And that, well, that is good for me. It means that I can ask his opinions on things and ask him for technical help. And he still has to love me.

Convenient, no?
