Manifestation

You know all that self-help crap that teaches you that you have everything you need, you just need to give it up to the universe in faith and the universe will deliver? You just have to wish, really hard, and believe it will happen?

Well, sometimes that actually works.

It hasn’t yet happened for me this time around, but it has in the past.  And there are definitely more possibilities popping up to say hello, all of a sudden, so it may very well be happening for me shortly.  Which let’s face it, would be rather quick. I figure it can’t hurt to wish particularly hard, and assume that once you start hoping for something, that something will come.  No owies involved there.

It’s equally true that the waiting can drag on, and stretch like toffee.

I’ve been working for 2 days now, and my goodness have they proved this to be true.  I’m not complaining, exactly. More… observing facts. The two best parts of my day are the parts where I decide what I’m wearing tomorrow (also, the part where I wear it), and my lunch. The rest? Toffee, internet. It’s toffee.

But those two highlights, they’re marvellous.

I sit down to eat my lunch and boy oh boy that fifteen minute period of me just stuffing deliciousness in my mouth is heaven. Glorious.  I pack a great lunch. A great, healthy, enviable lunch.

And I twirl in front of the mirror, when I get dressed. I can’t help it! I have some lovely clothes and shoes.  It’s just fun to be in them, and know that I will get to interact with other people, while in those clothes and shoes.

Morale can be lifted in the most unexpected of ways.
