Sup, Internet!
I’ve been busy writing, and making Christmas prezzies, writing, and writing some more. And so, I have less energy for ye ole blog. You understand.
I’m sure I’ll be back to my regularly blogging schedule soon enough, but in the meantime, there’s always cats:
Before you start to remind me, I know very well that it is the opposite of spring. I realize that it is fall, although it is starting to feel much like winter, and none of the pretty leaves are left on the trees.
It’s just that I’ve sort of suddenly looked up and noticed that it is time for a major cleaning.
I don’t only mean my house. I mean, sure, that needs some deep cleaning now that they’ve turned on the heat and dust is moving around in the air (it’s really, REALLY dusty in Calgary), but I’m talking about the other aspects too. Like sorting out files and papers, sorting through piles of junk drawer worthy material, returning library books, and deciding where to go from here.
It seems that all I can do lately is take myself seriously and think about my future, and my life.
I think my repetitiously reading Pride and Prejudice and the Harry Potter series has more to do with avoiding dealing with those things than a lack of desire to finish Life of Pi, A Spot of Bother or the other five hundred books I’ve only started to read.
Maybe once I make some decisions, I’ll feel better, and the wisps of ideas concerning plot twists in my book will materialize into pages and chapters.
Either way, it’s time to stop stalling.
