Therese: I finally found a song that I had been wondering about for 13 years yesterday. From ONE SINGLE LINE! FINALLY! Seriously, it’s been so many years that I had vaguely lost hope. Talk about a long time to figure out a song. It’s the most anticipated music video of all time.
Donna: …
Therese: So. Wanna hear it?
Donna: OK.
Donna: Richard Marx?
Therese: Yep. I was playing it yesterday when Doug got home, and he said “am I in the right apartment? Is this 1983?”
Donna: Ahahaha!
Therese: I hearted you so, Richard Marx. Even though I didn’t really know it.
Tomorrow is my birthday.
For reals, yo. I’m going to be a whole year older tomorrow. I’m sure I’ll write myself a letter, as I do each year, but for now, I’ll just look forward to it. There’s something magical about birthdays, isn’t there? There is, there is.
Note. I will expect a call from you, you know who you are, and I don’t care what time, day or night, so long as it is during my ACTUAL birthday. And I live in Mountain Time, remember. :)
